Your own private Cellar.
A managed Garage cluster of your own, across Canadian provinces. Same Cellar dashboard your team already knows. Nobody else on the boxes.
Pre-Launch Storm is collecting interest before opening this product. Tell us your target storage and replication preference, and we'll come back to you when we're ready to quote.
A Garage cluster of your own.
Storm provisions and operates dedicated nodes that form a Garage cluster for your organization only. Full admin keys, your own quotas, the full S3 API. Nobody outside your org shares the cluster.
The same Cellar UI on top.
Your team uses the same Cellar dashboard shared-tier customers use, applied to your private cluster. Buckets, keys, users, quotas, metrics. No new tool to learn.
One zone per Canadian province.
Three zones is Garage's sweet spot.
Garage was designed for replication factor 3 across three failure domains. We recommend running your cluster as three zones, one per Canadian province. Each zone holds a full copy of your data. If one province goes offline, your storage stays online.
All zones grow together.
Usable capacity is bounded by the smallest zone, so growing storage means adding a node to every zone in lockstep. You always see exactly which nodes are in your cluster and which data center each lives in.
Smaller starts are fine too.
Single-zone RF1 is a reasonable starting point for backup-target use cases or for testing the waters before scaling out. The cluster grows as you do.
No round-number tiers. The bill shows the math.
Per-node prices depend on what Storm pays each data center, and that varies by province. Your bill breaks into four line items so you can see exactly where every dollar goes.
Hardware passthrough.
Whatever Storm pays each data center for each node in your cluster. Different zones cost different amounts because they come from different providers with different deals.
Setup, per zone and per node.
One-time fee each time a node joins your cluster. Covers procurement, enrollment, and the work to bring it into the Garage layout.
Maintenance and patching.
Ongoing operations work: kernel updates, Garage upgrades, monitoring, on-call. Recurring monthly fee.
The Cellar dashboard layer.
The management UI, the user and quota tooling, and the dispatch glue that lets your cluster behave like Cellar from the outside. Recurring monthly fee.
Numbers depend on your target storage, replication factor, and which provinces your zones live in. We quote per cluster once we know your shape.
Tell me when this is ready.
Storm comes back to you when the product is ready to quote. No drip campaign, no list-sharing. The more you tell us now, the faster the quote.
